Privacy policy

This policy explains what SlateFlow Capital ("we") collects when you use this website and how it is used. By creating an account you agree to it.

What we collect

• Account data: name, email address, username and a salted hash of your password (we never store the password itself).
• Portfolio data: the transactions you enter or upload (dates, tickers, quantities, prices, amounts, notes, dividend references) and the CSV files you upload.
• Content: blog posts and drafts you write, and messages you send through the contact form.
• Technical data: a session token stored in your browser's local storage so you stay logged in; basic request logs kept by our hosting providers.

How it is stored

Data is stored in a private Google Sheet and Google Drive folder belonging to SlateFlow Capital and is accessed only through this application's backend running on Google Apps Script. The website is served through Cloudflare. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties, except processors needed to run the service (Google, Cloudflare) and where required by law.

How it is used

To operate your account, compute your portfolio analytics, display the blog content you choose to publish, send transactional emails (verification codes, password resets, plan updates) and respond to your messages. We do not send marketing email without your consent.

Market prices

Ticker symbols you hold are sent to Google Finance through our spreadsheet to fetch indicative prices. No personal identifiers accompany these requests.

Your choices

You can edit your profile, delete transactions and posts, and log out from any device by changing your password. To delete your account and all associated data, email slateflowcapital@gmail.com from your registered address; deletion is completed within 7 days.
